OUR STORY

Anne & Sandy founded the original "Peanuts" as a group-family daycare in 1991. In 1997 Anne & Sandy opened Peanuts Nursery School on Main Street in Farmingdale where they continued to provide the community with outstanding learning experiences for preschoolers for over 24 years. In 2020 Peanuts closed due to Covid-19 and Anne & Sandy opened Peanuts at St. Gregory's in Seaford! 

Anne & Sandy have been friends since middle school and were even roommates for four years in  college at SUNY New Paltz. Sandy earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and Early Childhood Education at New Paltz and later earned her Master's degree in Early Childhood from Queens College and is a certified teacher, nursery-6th grade. Anne earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology at New Paltz and has also worked with children her entire career. 

Peanuts at St. Gregory's has three huge classrooms for our 2 year old, 3 year old, and 4 year old programs and a huge, fenced-in outdoor play area separated for the 2's and 3's & 4's.

Peanuts at St. Gregory's mission is to engage your children in developmentally appropriate play, crafts, songs, games, and activities while keeping your children safe and loved! We promote social, physical, cognitive, intellectual and emotional growth in a nurturing and fun environment. Peanuts has serviced over 3000 children over the past 30 years and has an amazing staff of teachers and assistants who treat your children as their own.
