Covid-19 Policies & Procedures

Updated 8/02/2021

Our #1 Priority is Keeping our Students & Staff Safe and Healthy!

Staff will meet your child outside and escort your child to their classroom.

Any child exhibiting any symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, diarrhea) will not be allowed in school and may only return with a negative Covid test or after 10 days. Any student with a temperature greater than 99.5* will not be able to attend.

-Unvaccinated staff will be wearing masks inside.

-Hand sanitizers installed in vestibules.

-Each child must bring in a personal hand sanitizer of your choosing (please label with child's name).

Kid's Supplies:  Each child should have their own art supplies to use at school (crayons, markers, scissor, glue, pencils, etc).

-Toys will be disinfected between classes.

-Frequent hand washing will occur throughout the session (We have a bathroom and sink in every classroom!) Children will wash hands before snack.

-Cleaning and disinfecting will be done in all classrooms during and after each session. We also have a professional cleaning service coming regularly.

-Social distancing will be promoted through work/play stations.  It is very hard to keep little ones socially distanced, but we will encourage more personal space.

About Quarantines:

There will not be a tuition credit or any refunds because of time missed due to quarantine.

1)   If a child or family member is EXPOSED to a person with COVID, the child must stay home and quarantine for 10 days from date exposure.

2)   If a child or family member EXHIBITS SYMPTOMS (fever, runny nose, diarrhea) the child must either quarantine for 10 days, return with a negative COVID test, or return with a doctor's note of clearance.

3)   If a family member TESTS POSITIVE for COVID, the child must quarantine for 10 days after the most recent positive test date.

4).  If a child TESTS POSITIVE for COVID, the entire class, including the teacher and assistant, must quarantine for 10 days.

We can give you our promise that we will do our very best to meet or exceed all of the CDC guidelines and still have some fun!

We thank you for taking the time to read through our reopening plan. Please recognize that the current environment is rapidly changing, and our policies and procedures may have to change in accordance.
